WHIA-Con-2024-Vendor-Exhibitor-info

Please note, we have a new vendor coordinator for 2024.  Det. Pete Erickson will be handling that from here forward.   Pete can reached by e-mail HERE, (pterickson@wahomicide.org) or you can call him at 206/713-2666.

The Washington Homicide Investigator’s Association (WHIA) is pleased to invite you to participate as an exhibitor and / or sponsor at our 2023 Homicide Investigator’s Conference and Vendor Fair.  Our conference will be held May 9-12, 2023, and we will be returning to the Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish Washington.  The Clearwater Casino Resort is located on the breathtaking Kitsap Peninsula and boasts a state of the art 10,000 square foot conference room where we welcome criminal justice professionals from throughout our great state and beyond.

The Washington Homicide Investigator’s Association was founded in 2011 and we currently hold a membership of over 1000 dedicated law enforcement, prosecuting attorneys, medical examiner offices and other criminal justice professionals.  Our mission is to provide investigative support, training and networking opportunities to homicide investigators and responders as well as prosecutors and other death investigation professionals throughout the State of Washington, and the Pacific Northwest.  WHIA hosts several training courses throughout the year with the Annual Conference being our Marquee event.   Local, national, and international homicide professionals are brought in to present case studies and speak about valuable lessons learned.  Our Annual Conference has consistently had around 300 attendees each year and the vendor area receives high traffic from these attendees.

We truly appreciate the loyal support many of you have provided in the past and hope you will join us again in 2023.  We could not do this without FRIENDS LIKE YOU.  If you have not previously exhibited or sponsored our annual conference, we look forward to welcoming you as a valued partner.

We carefully plan and design our conference to maximize vendor/attendee interaction.  Going back to our first conference we have always had the vendor exhibition area in the same room as the main conference.  We require a confidentiality agreement from each vendor considering the content of some presentations.  We are tentatively planning on the ’23 conference being structured in the same way, however the lessons of 2020 have taught us to be flexible.
