We are hosting a 4-day Basic Homicide Investigations Class.
This course fulfills the “Basic Homicide Investigation” basic training class for the Washington State IIT lead investigator certificate requirement (WAC 139-12-030). This will include 36 hours of classroom, and 4 hours of independent learning.
This class will be held October 5th – 8th, 2026 at the Wenatchee Convention Center, Wenatchee, WA.
Tuition for this class is $450.00. Tuition includes full 4-day attendance, certificate of completion, morning and afternoon coffee service, lunch all four days, one evening hospitality event w/ Hors d’oeuvres. WHIA membership required, tuition includes membership fee. (NO NEED TO PURCHASE MEMBERSHIP IN ADVANCE).
You must meet WHIA membership eligibility requirements to attend. 2027 membership is included with tuition. WHIA membership eligibility can be found HERE.

Please note that this class was previously 5 days but after a scheduling requirement last year we went to a 4-day format. Its popularity in reviews caused us to keep that format. Due to that, the class days will be slightly longer. Class hours will generally be 0800-1700.
